GOTW: Week 4

Game Of The Week: Jaguars@Saints

Our first GOTW, and we have a pretty good one going on. We have two Undefeated 3-0 teams going at with powerful offenses. The Jaguars, under GM Warmaster, have been almost unstoppable. With Maurice Jones-Drew leading the way, The Jags have the #1 Rushing offense in the league. On the other side, we have the Saints who are under GM King Bubba who is led by his balanced offense and well played defense. Let's break these two teams down to there offense and defense, and we'll see who comes out on top.

Jaguars Offense:
The Jags have been a surprise team that's on the rise and turning some heads. The man that has contributed the most too this is the one and only Maurice Jones-Drew. Who currently leads the league in rushing with 599 yards on the ground. At this pace, he will break 2,000 yards easily. There's no surprise what War want's to do in this game, he's just going to come out and run the ball down your throat. and if you don't stop it, you don't win. Now while we know his Rushing game is good, his passing needs a little tuning. But don't be too worried, he can still pass the ball when needed. It's just important he does not fall into a hole or else he has to pass which is not what he want's to do.

Jaguars Defense:
Wars defense..Ranked #2. Shocked aren't you? Well i am too. his defense has just been flat out amazing. His defense has been getting to the QB with no problem, they have 12 sacks going into week 4. Not much of a turnover defense, but it does not matter if he can force you to go 3 and out on many drives. With only 376 yards given up, his defense has been a force to reckon with.

Saints Offense:
The Saints offense comes into this game ranked #12 in the league. 7 behind the Jags mighty offense. Bubba is going to need to find a way to create scoring drives on Wars defense that is almost impossible to run on and pass on. one tip, throw the ball, with that D-line of the Jags, have fun trying to run on them, so get the ball, and air it out early on so that you can make him uncomfortable with his passing offense.

Saints Defense:
Another great defense, ranked #6 in the league, you have a big task ahead of you here, stop the run, that's all you need to do. If you can stop the run then you will be successful in this game. Just watch out, his passing game is still dangerous. with 8 int's find a way to get him 3rd down and make him pass and cause the TO's you like to get, but you're pass rush will need to step up with only 1 sack all year.

Overall Outcome:
With the Jags mighty offense and defense, you cant help but not like them, I'm picking the Jags in a 31-17 Run fest in New Orleans, with MJD rushing over 150 yards.
